Karen & Tim

Finally a post from my Columbia wedding. There are so many shots that I like I had a hard time narrowing down what to post. I had a blast photographing Karen & Tim's wedding. They seemed so happy and in love. Karen looked radiant the whole day! It's so great to see the Bride & Groom truly enjoy themselves on their wedding day...that's the way it should be of course!

Karen with her Father.

We took all the "formals" before the ceremony so we arranged a "first sighting" for Karen & Tim. I love this shot of Karen with her sister Silvana and Tim waiting down below.

This is Karen coming down the staircase to see Tim for the first time that day..look at that beautiful light!!! We scouted out the location the day before and knew this was would make a great shot!

This is the street that the Hotel Santa Clara (where the reception took place) is on. I knew it would look great as a backdrop for some portraits.

Bridal party.

Karen and her Dad just before leaving for the ceremony...look the love in her Dad's expression...love it!

During the ceremony.

The church

Love this cute shot of Karen during the ceremony.

The kiss!

On the carriage ride after the ceremony.

Up on the old wall in Cartagena.

Sunsets may be cliché but look at that color!

I could not resist this!! These soldiers where up on the wall (the Columbian el Presidente was in town so there were soldiers around). Karen asked if we could have them in the shot...who can say no to a Bride on her wedding day! Yes, those are real machine guns....at least I think they're machine guns?

One of my many faves from the day. I just love how relaxed & happy they look and the building in the background.

During the first dance.

The cake cutting.

One from my second shooter Jeff.

We had to go out for some quick romantic night shots before the end of the night.

The party was still raging past midnight. I'm sure everyone had a blast!

& a shot of the rings with their monogram.

Thank you Karen & Tim!
