While in Columbia I had a chance, with my 2nd shooter Jeff, to get out and take some images for myself!! Something I don't often get to do. It was definitely fun to stroll around in completely different surroundings. Here's some of what we saw. Here's a link to Jeff's blog...he got some cool shots too! I'll be posting more during the coming weeks.
There were horse drawn buggies everywhere...I waited for this guy to ride into my shot.

I thought these stairs looked mysterious.
I LOVE this wall...what an amazing backdrop!
There was fruit on sale everywhere, mostly watermelon and little limes.

We did a bit of night shooting.
The entrance to the Plaza de los Coches.
Young lovers.
Most of the dogs that I saw (in Cartagena) were well cared for and were with their owners on leash. There were a few strays around but they at least seemed well fed.
This guy was up at an old convent which is now a tourist stop. That's a tourist bus in the background.
Don't worry he was only taking a nap.
Juan Valdez Cafe..it was just like Starbucks!

Amber & Andrew
I'm back from my trip and will have a lots of images to post from it! First here's a few from Amber & Andrews wedding which I shot just before I left. They had an intimate ceremony & reception at The Mansion in Rock City Falls, NY. They seemed very happy & relaxed!
Getting ready.
Amber looked beautiful! She said a friend of hers designed her jewelry.

The ceremony.

This is so cute! Andrew looks very happy!

Love the natural light in this portrait of one of the brides maids.
