I took this on my brief trip to Ithaca. I think it's a Thistle, which may be a weed I'm not sure. I do like this shot though. There's something very calming about photographing plants and flowers :)

I visited my good friend Starwberry Curls (yes, that is her real name...it used to be Strawberry Lemon, Curls is her husbands last name!) of Soly Sombra Creations last weekend. She's a galser (not sure what the proper term is) and does beautiful work. Some of her work is on sale at Spirit and Kitsch a cool shop in Ithaca, NY. Here's a sample of her work.
