My family owns and operates The Bread Basket Bakery in Saratoga Springs, NY. I've recently started a project (yep, another one) photographing "behind the scenes". Basically the making of all the yummy products they produce everyday. These are just a few images from my first visit. It was much harder than I thought. The bakers (my husband Chad, mother in-law Joan, and the awesome Kate) zip around the kitchen all morning. The images are about the hands-on craft of making baked goods from scratch...so you'll see hands not faces.

Bakery...behind the scenes
Portrait project
I used to take my camera almost everywhere and was always photographing people (back when it wasn't my job)...it's been a long time since I've done this for myself, too long. So I decided to start taking portraits for myself again.
My first subject is Elisa. These are from the end of our mini-photo session. We shot in her home, using natural light.

I'm not sure if these images give any insight into Elisa's personality but I think they came out nice.
